is it summer yet?

1.)
We are both so trunky right now... theres only like 5 weeks left until i have my freaking bachelors and summer is here. k spring which means still snow but oh well. There has been a lot of big decisions being made these past few weeks and a lot of happenings. I can't believe i actually have things to blog about.
Eric's bday was in feb and he turned 24-which is nearly 30. We celebrated with chels who made him cookies. i made him his favorite dinner of chicken cordon bleu and bread sticks and gourmet french toast for breakfast. His parents got him scriptures and my parents and Debi got him gift cards to amazon.com and heidi got us a fun game and katie/ryan/stratty got us a gift card to olive garden and max colored us a picture! We like birthdays.
Eric even got a special card just for him:
2.)
I finished my student teaching in orem with a kindergarten class and i miss the kids soooo much. They were so cute and loving and i wanted to keep most all of them. I am now at a school in springville with first grade. at my last school in orem, i was having a bad day and the kids were out of control and i was getting frustrated and then the secretary walks in with a gorgeous bouquet and said they were for me. I read the note and it was from eric saying to keep going and that im doing great. it was just what i needed. now you can all start being jealous and wish your husband was like mine.

3.)
We were having a hard time deciding what to do for the summer with eric's internship and school and such and we decided to stay in ugly provo. but it is what is probably best for us and eric got an internship at novell. he started this week and he is part time until summer and then he is full time then and part time when school starts again. so he quit both his jobs at byu and is working at novell. the best part is is that he has his own office with a huge desk and a desktop computer with 2 monitors and his own phone number! its like an old man job.
4.)
WE MOVED!!!! we had been looking for a place to move to when school gets out but then eric's friend and husband came over to look at our place and said they can move in whenever so we started looking at apartments and we found a great one but they wanted us to move in that week. so we packed up and moved. (thanks to all the men that helped us move on such short notice- it meant a lot!!!) At our old apartment we discovered a mouse had been living and pooping in our closets, cupboards, shelves, kitchen counters, vents, etc. after nearly vomiting while scouring our apartment with cleaner, we decided we had had enough. our new place is just down the hill but so so nice. vaulted ceilings, 2 bathrooms, and we each have our own sinks in our bedroom. it feels good to not feel like the cereal you are eating might have mouse poop in it.
