FALL 09

So I have been doing my 'student teaching' and have no free time and Eric is in the Junior core of his program and has none either. We don't get to see each other much because of school and work. Eric has 2 jobs: Working in a computer lab in the JFSB and working in the men's locker room in the RB. He closes every other night and I work in the women's locker room in the RB and close every night. So we see each other when in the morning before we leave to school and at 1030p after we close at work. Eric has been working on a project all semester with his group and recently turned it in. It was supposed to prepare him for this last week called "INTEX" (we put it as "hell week" on our monthly calendar). For INTEX they give all the ISYS Junior core a similar project to the one they had just been working on all semester and they have to do it in 5 days. They are given the problem/project on monday and have to turn it in by friday and present on saturday. They present to a teacher, a T.A. and a Pricewaterhouse Coopers representative. Eric got very little sleep the entire week, he would come home after i was in bed sleeping and leave before i woke up. He and his group worked their butts off. There were prizes for 1st 2nd and 3rd place and Eric said the smartest group got called up for 2nd and he was disappointed because he thought there was no way they could beat out them. But then his group got called for first place! the prize was $150 so Eric got 50 and of course he spends it all on a surprise for me. I was so proud of him. I knew he was the smartest man alive but its good for others to know that too. One of the reps from PWC came up to Eric and talked to him about his job and gave him his email and Eric said that was the best prize.
Here is a recent pic of us (took today) by Chels.
This man is going places. Maybe he'll take me along.
