1 week old compared to 4 months
They finally are starting to not fit into their 0-3 month old clothes. They are so squirmy and get themselves in the most odd of positions. Here are some I collected for this month:
They couldn’t be more different which has been so fun. We
have 2 totally different babies with their own personalities.
Roy is hard to make laugh and
when you do you feel so accomplished. He has an old grandpa smile where he
rolls his lips inward and smiles. He sort of sleeps through the night. He wakes up a couple of times just to be
rocked and most the time he ends up coming to bed with me because I get sick of
getting up. We think it might be gas but who knows. He also hates napping. He
doesn’t nap for very long. He is also
SOOOOO chatty. He rambles and rambles at the top of his lungs all day long. He
is 16 lbs now and his ginormous head is in the 99%ile. He sometimes sucks his
thumb but not as much as he used to. He is really good at reaching for things…and
shoving them in his mouth.
Bruce is a constantly smiling
baby. When I go to wake him up to eat
(because brother is awake and starving) he opens his eyes and smiles big. His smile is mostly a big wide open
mouth. Bruce LOVES to sleep. To put him down all you have to do is lay him
down and he is out. And out. I am always waking him up to feed because both of
them eat at the same time and Roy is always up first (screaming). He can go to
sleep at 7 and still needs waking up at 9 am. He laughs all day long. It is music to our ears. He is so ticklish and loves being thrown up
in the air. Kicking is his forte- he is so wild and flails constantly. He is a big
thumb-sucker. He is 15 lbs now. He has
to get a helmet in 2 weeks which we are not too excited about…but we will try
to make it look cool.
It’s so neat to see them grow up and have their own ‘ways’
and quirks. These boys are really our whole world.
Also, it was Lacey and Ryan and Chelseys’s bdays.
Lacey was the only one in the Americas.
She hates cake so we made her a special request ‘cake’ of muddy buddies.
The boys loved her.

Hahaha! Thats true! Lacey was the only one in the Americas for their birthdays! Oh man I wanna smoosh their faces and snuggles them all day longs!
