yes eric married ME. man am i lucky.
besides being ridiculously gorgeous and heaven-sent, he is a bloody genius.
when my family came down last week, eric left. he was gone from wed-sat in st.louis missouri at a nerd convention. it's called the aitp national competition (association of information technology professionals). yes- nerd bomber. there were nearly 500 students competing from 69 different schools throughout the nation. there were i think 9 competitions and they were things like networking, database stuff, java stuff, systems stuff, (really i have no clue these are just some words i hear them say). so you compete in partners and byu competed in i think 7 of the 9 and eric did 3 or 4. byu took..
1st and 2nd in the business one
1st and 2nd in the systems one
1st in the visual studio one.
2nd and 3rd in the java one, and
honorable mention in the database one
out of 69 schools!! my baby got the first place in the systems and third in the java. byu took the most trophies by far.
After staying up late every night and working hard all day, eric came home sunday to see my family for a little bit before they left and this is what they saw of him...
he passed out in the middle of us all. anyway, im allowed to brag once in a while.
